Lisa Dawson – Founder and director of Lisa Dawson Interiors
Having qualified as a textile conservator, Lisa first came to Norfolk in 1996 from her native Australia, to work for The National Trust’s Textile Conservation studio at Blickling Hall, Norfolk. After a very happy and informative 12 years with the National Trust, Lisa felt a new challenge was in order and originally started Lisa Dawson Interiors with a view to creating reproduction soft furnishings for historic houses. Whilst this still remains a large part of the work programme each year, the business has grown to include the design and creation of furnishings for a vast range of private and commercial properties.
When asked about the ethos behind her business Lisa stated, “I have always been intrigued by the use of colour, form and texture to create interior spaces that excite and inspire. I embark on a journey with each new project, using experience and communication to help others to create spaces that are both beautiful and practical. I am driven by the constant desire to achieve perfection and am backed by a hugely talented team who support me in every aspect of our work. I am passionate about what I do and I think this passion shows in the results we achieve and the relationships we build with our clients.”
